Upcycling is the perfect way to protect the environment, as well to stimulate your imagination and creativity. My following project is proof to the idea that there is no garbage. Everything should be repurposed and upgraded. I used plastic water cap rings to create a beautiful pair of hoops. This transformation is piece of cake.
Using a 3mm hook and thick golden cotton thread sc until the plastic ring is covered.
Then ch 1 and rsc all round. (To reverse sc, once you finish the first round, don't turn your work. Ch 1 and sc all way back.)
At the end of the round cast off.
Now you improvise. Add earring clasps, adorn your earrings with beads, colorful stitches, or keep them simple and classy.
